TB No 144 –  “Collie River Caper to celebrate all Mums”

When: Saturday 11th May 2024

Where: Clifton Community Reserve, Lucy Victoria Ave

Start Time: 6.30 am

Details: On trail neighbouring the Collie River and Bunbury Golf Course and along winding, undulating and at times sandy course. BYO Party style morning tea to celebrate “Mothers Day” early.

Contact: Sherpa Allan on 0419 925 840 for further info.

Trailblazer runs are not races and all abilities are welcome, however given the terrain and locations involved, juniors are generally not encouraged to attend.

Why not bypass the humdrum of the hot mix, the pounding of the pavement or the potential encounters with the night clubbers returning home to roost and join our “Trailblazer” monthly outing that comes with a twist or two. Trailblazer activities endeavour to tap into the numerous tracks and trails or unsealed roads around the region on the second Saturday of each month.

These are mob runs not races, a 10km minimum course is the standard.

Where possible, most will be ‘out and back’ formats so participants can turn around and return to the start at any time (but no guarantees). Given the nature of these activities, the terrain will often be both varied and challenging, with hills a constant possibility. However for every up there will be a down and you never know what you may find around the next corner to brighten your day.

As an extension to the BRC club activities there are no entry fees, but given the environs and distances, under 18’s are not actively encouraged. All U/18s will require written permission and adult supervision if they wish to attend.
